I was reading up on this craze "Bebo" and found an interesting article from "The Register":
A 17-year-old from Norfolk who "boasted of his criminal exploits on Bebo" has been slapped with a two-year anti-social behaviour order (Asbo), banning him from publishing material online which is "threatening or abusive" and "promotes criminal activity".
According to the Telegraph, Norwich Youth Court imposed the order after the defendant posted "comments and photographs on the social networking site glorifying his criminal exploits including drug-taking". He admitted a series of offences, including "stealing a vehicle and possession of cannabis".
I agree with one of the comments for this article about an e-asbo, just how long will it be before they try to introduce this? I personally find there is not much point on introducing such a ridiculous new law, the individual should just be banned from using the web site and prosecuted as seen fit in a court of law.

A lot of the laws we have already deal with things like this. Some folk seem to think we need new laws to deal with new media forms. Sometimes you do, but a lot of the times you don't.
