The DDA and DPA

Today we were asked to look at the DDA and this is what I found,
task 1 information was found onWeb Credible

Task 1
Yes websites have to comply with the DDA because it is now the law.
Section III of the DDA, which refers to accessible websites, came into force on 1st October 1999.
The penalty for non-compliance is a law suit.

Machine Head

I was at the Machine Head gig in Glasgow's SECC on the 20/11/2007. It was the best gig i have been to in a long time, they just owned the stage with Trivium a close second not forgetting Arch Enemy, I spent most of the night in a mosh or a circle pit so when i got home i was so badly bruised all over that it looked like i had been playing rugby!! but it was so worth it!!!!!!

The Bebo Bad Boy!

I was reading up on this craze "Bebo" and found an interesting article from "The Register":

A 17-year-old from Norfolk who "boasted of his criminal exploits on Bebo" has been slapped with a two-year anti-social behaviour order (Asbo), banning him from publishing material online which is "threatening or abusive" and "promotes criminal activity".
According to the Telegraph, Norwich Youth Court imposed the order after the defendant posted "comments and photographs on the social networking site glorifying his criminal exploits including drug-taking". He admitted a series of offences, including "stealing a vehicle and possession of cannabis".

I agree with one of the comments for this article about an e-asbo, just how long will it be before they try to introduce this? I personally find there is not much point on introducing such a ridiculous new law, the individual should just be banned from using the web site and prosecuted as seen fit in a court of law.

photo walking

That’s us into our third week now and today we went on a photo walk, we walked about college taking random pictures of whatever caught our eye,

and as it is Christmas I thought that it would be nice to have at least one picture of something Christmassy so I took one of a very white Christmas tree that is in ACSA (Aberdeen college students’ association).

I took a lot of pictures of posters and warning signs because every where we went there seemed to be at least two posters and even more warning signs.
